Lou is a creative and dreamy young girl of about twelve years old. She lives alone with her mother, Emma, who has set aside her life as a woman in recent years to focus on her daughter's growth. Their comfortable cocoon still hides some flaws: Emma is stagnating and slowly slipping into melancholy while Lou is obsessed with Tristan, her little neighbor, neglecting her group of friends... Their bubble bursts as Emma embarks on a romantic rebirth and a first kiss plunges Lou into the intoxicating years of adolescence.
