After his grandfather's passing, little Jie moves into his grandfather's house in Brooklyn with his parents and quickly becomes best friends with Tony, who lives downstairs. They even dream of going to high school together, but their friendship begins to change due to adult disputes... Ella Sachs, known for his delicate portrayal of the gay experience, explores the subtle changes in friendship, echoing the romance of the two main characters in his previous work "Love is Strange." All the preciousness is no match for the schemes of the adult world.
