The story is about a rationalist modern Tibetan entrepreneur, Danzeng, who wholeheartedly wants to open the best café in Nepal. Just as he is fully dedicated to pursuing his dream, Danzeng is suddenly plagued by a series of recurring bizarre nightmares and hallucinations, and his friends and prophets warn him that these are omens of imminent death. The accomplished prophet and ancient texts suggest that only by finding a Dakini can he save his life; otherwise, he will die within seven days. Danzeng views these prophecies and advice as foolish superstitions. But no matter how much we doubt and despise it, under the shadow of the threat of death, especially when it relates to our own lives, it can be maddening and terrifying. Thus, Danzeng begins a frantic search for this "very special woman," a journey that confronts his own paranoia and fear head-on.
