Li Xiaoli (played by Yan Shuo), an employee in the hotel sales department, is a straightforward and carefree single mother. Due to her poor communication skills at work and the responsibility of raising her child alone, life is tough for her. Through the mediation of a real estate agent, Li Xiaoli accidentally discovers that Cao Yang (played by Ji Chen), who has just gone bankrupt and urgently needs a place to stay, is very fond of children. Though it seems impossible for the two to live under the same roof, they end up signing a lease together. The hotel manager (played by Wang Maolei) becomes furious when Li Xiaoli accidentally hits a customer, and due to her past troubles, decides to dismiss her. In order to salvage her job opportunity, Li Xiaoli volunteers to substitute for a violinist who canceled at the last minute and play at a client banquet. Unexpectedly, at the banquet, Li Xiaoli accidentally breaks a bottle of priceless red wine, finding herself in an embarrassing situation where she decides to help the client sell wine to pay off debts. Li Xiaoli, who knows nothing about selling wine, inadvertently begins selling red wine and faces difficulties everywhere, causing trouble for herself, while also neglecting her daughter. As the deadline for selling the wine approaches, Cao Yang decides to have Li Xiaoli pretend to be his wife to infiltrate high society, helping him create more business opportunities, and promises that once the business succeeds, he will buy all her wines. To Cao Yang's surprise, the wife of one of his clients becomes fond of Li Xiaoli because of her sincere and straightforward personality, not only helping her out of a predicament but eventually switching to a wine business herself, leading to Cao Yang’s departure. Li Xiaoli’s genuine and simple character, along with her unadorned and non-hyped sales attitude, saves a red wine company deeply affected by the economic crisis and luxurious brands, leaving the company's manager quite moved. A year later, with the help of Cao Yang's clients, Li Xiaoli runs a cozy little shop and comes to understand the true meaning of life through her experiences selling wine to pay off debts, slowing down to savor life. On her daughter’s birthday, Cao Yang sends a gift to congratulate them, and the three of them look forward to a happy future together.
