Anna (played by Diana Cavallioti) and Toma (played by Mircea Postelnicu) meet on a university campus during a philosophical discussion about Nietzsche, becoming confidants. The two, who resonate deeply on a spiritual level, soon come together, convinced that they are meant to spend their lives together. However, Anna has a very complicated past and is also a patient with MS syndrome. When Toma's family learns about Anna's condition, they strongly oppose their relationship. Nevertheless, Toma insists on his deep love, firmly holding Anna's hand even when isolated and unsupported. Together, they work hard to heal Anna's emotional wounds. However, the story does not end there; while Anna recovers, Toma's mental state approaches the brink of collapse.
