In the Wang family mansion, every woman who becomes the matriarch mysteriously commits suicide at midnight. The new matriarch, Xiqing, senses something amiss and begins an investigation, discovering that several matriarchs may have been murdered. Eventually, Xiqing becomes the matriarch of the Wang family, falling into crisis as the true culprit emerges. However, the true culprit is unexpected.
