Dalton (Patrick Swayze) has been living a free life on the streets since childhood, gaining a wealth of life experience. With his clever mind, Dalton secures a good job at a nightclub. Soon, his cheerful and kind personality, along with his hard work and responsibility, earns him the trust of his boss and colleagues. One day, a group of thugs comes to trouble the nightclub where Dalton works, and he steps up to drive them away. Dalton's outstanding performance catches the attention of the Double Deuce bar owner, Wade Garrett (Kevin Tighe). Wade brings Dalton to his bar, intending to nurture this promising young man.
