Mei Xiaowu (played by Bai Baihe), a female gambler who has experienced the ups and downs of life, navigates the world of diverse gamblers in the gambling city of Ma Ge (Macau). She encounters real estate developer Duan Kaiwen (played by Wu Gang), artist Shi Qilan (played by Huang Jue), as well as political and business figures from various social classes. Even her fallen ex-husband Lu Jintong (played by Geng Le) gets pulled back into her life. These individuals fight in the casino and dodge debts outside of it, leading a life of lending and collecting.
