33-year-old Hiroko Yuzu (played by Rie Tomosaka) is a busy working woman who has been constantly on the go. Two years ago, yearning for her career, she divorced her husband and has been raising her 6-year-old son Tomoya on her own, without any spare time day and night. One day, the mother and son encounter a strange man dressed as a samurai, who claims to be Anbe Nakajima (played by Ryo Nishikido), a retainer serving the Tokugawa family, who inexplicably time-traveled to modern society.
