In a school where democracy and freedom were nonexistent, Wang Xinren (played by Feng Xiaoyue) could not suppress his rebellious heart, writing acrostic poems and planning a collective protest dance. Alongside him in this unruly adventure were Chen Zhongliang (played by Zhang Xiaoqian) and Lin Meibao (played by Gui Lunmei). The three, who often spent time together, found love quietly blossoming among them. The awkward Zhongliang couldn't understand Meibao's hints; Xinren actively pursued Meibao; while the earliest to have a girlfriend, Zhongliang found himself confused. In 1990, Taipei.
