Cheng Zai Xin (played by Gigi Leung) is a typical career woman in Hong Kong. Her husband, Du Lin (played by George Lam), is dismissed from his position due to the changes brought by Hong Kong's handover and company policies. The story of Cheng Zai Xin over the past ten years begins at this moment. Subsequently, her husband dies in a car accident, and just when she thinks she can handle everything well, her son succumbs to SARS, losing his life.
