According to legend, drinking water from the Holy Grail, used by Jesus at the Last Supper, grants eternal life. During a gold-digging expedition, a stone inscription recording the grail's existence is discovered, attracting a multitude of crazed individuals in search of it. Dr. Indiana Jones (played by Harrison Ford) is among them, and even his father, old Jones (played by Sean Connery), is drawn into the quest—only to disappear after leaving Jones a note about the grail.
