On sunny days, a girl (Li Bingbing) appears on the bustling Wangfujing Street in Beijing, selling sunflowers originally from Brazil to pedestrians coming in and out of the church. A boy (Xia Yu) who works at a photography equipment store across from the church, upon seeing the girl, goes out to buy a sunflower from her and secretly records her every glance and smile with a camera set up in the shop window, so he can review her smile again that night.
