In a car accident, the mother dies, while the child miraculously survives, naked and rescued, only to find that the rescuer is his future self. This librarian named Henry (played by Eric Bana) suffers from a chronic condition called time displacement, causing him to time-travel every time he has an episode. Moreover, he is always naked during his travels, often leading to humorous situations. Over time, Henry becomes accustomed to this. By chance, he falls in love with a girl named Claire (played by Rachel McAdams). To pursue Claire, he time-travels to confess his love to 6-year-old Claire and promises to marry her in the future. As a result, when Henry appears in reality, the two quickly fall in love, get married, and even have a daughter. However, Henry's old issue remains unchanged, so Claire must adapt to her time-traveling husband, and together they endure many hardships... This film is adapted from the bestselling novel of the same name by American author Audrey Niffenegger.
