The Innocent Sect's "Peach Blossom Poetry Society of Dream of the Red Chamber" is adapted from the foremost of the Four Great Classical Novels, "Dream of the Red Chamber," narrating the lives of Xiangling and Qingwen, the top characters from the supplementary volumes of the Twelve Beauties of Jinling. Xiangling's story is akin to a prequel of Lin Daiyu; Qingwen is more like Daiyu, as studies have traditionally suggested "Qing is Dai's shadow." The story unfolds from the Peach Blossom Poetry Society, where through Baoyu, Daiyu, and Xue Baochai, it leads to the "dreamy love" between Xiangling and Qingwen, exploring the fates of "ill-fated children." Xiangling's poetic aspirations permeated her entire life; in the Pear Fragrance Court, she was tormented to death by Xia Jingui. Qingwen, inherently charming, caused friction between Xiren and the maid Zhuier, ultimately leading to Lady Wang expelling the gravely ill Qingwen from the Grand View Garden. Baoyu's soul returns to the realm of illusion, where he meets Daiyu, Qingwen, and Xiangling, realizing in the previous life he was the attendant of Shen Ying, and Daiyu was originally the Ruby Grass, who to repay the love of the attendant by nourishing her with tears, reincarnated as a fairy herb by the stone of three lifetimes.
