During the reign of Emperor Xianzong of the Ming Dynasty, the Fusang Ghost King (played by Zuo Songsheng) appeared in Shijia Town, threatening the human world and taking the beautiful Shi Shi (played by Wang Zuxian) as his beloved concubine.
