Supreme Treasure (Stephen Chow) is transported 500 years back in time by the Moonlight Treasure Box, where he meets the Fairy Zixia (Zhu Yin), who brands him as hers, and discovers that he has become Sun Wukong. Zixia and Qingxia (also played by Zhu Yin) were originally the wicks of the Sun and Moon God Lamp before the Buddha, with Zixia representing the day and Qingxia the night. Although they share the same body, they harbor deep hatred for each other. Thus, Zixia vows that whoever can pull out her Purple and Blue Sword will be her destined partner. Supreme Treasure inadvertently pulls out the sword, and Zixia decides to pledge herself to him, but he rejects her, as he is still obsessed with Bai Jingjing (Karen Mok). Later, the Bull Demon King saves Zixia, who is lost in the desert, and forces her to marry him. At a critical moment, Supreme Treasure appears.
