Essen Enterprises is a large French company with 90,000 employees. One day, a financial analyst named Dama jumped from the top floor of the corporate headquarters and ended his life. When the Labor Department intervened in the investigation, Emily, the Human Resources Manager, claimed Dama's death was purely due to "personal reasons." Only Emily's secretary knew that Dama had repeatedly sought Emily after his request for a transfer was denied, but was consistently ignored. Labor inspector Marie oversees 2,500 companies in her area, responsible for the occupational safety of 30,000 employees. She firmly believes that Dama's choice to commit suicide at the workplace is a warning sign. Relentlessly, she discovered an internal corporate management method at Essen called the "Ambition Plan," aimed at forcing 9,000 employees to leave voluntarily through transfers without having to resort to layoffs. If it can be proven that the personnel manager attempted to drive Dama out, Emily could face charges of "workplace bullying" or even "manslaughter." When Essen's upper management decides to shift all blame onto Emily, how can a small fry stand up to a big whale? How should Emily fight back?
