The story takes place in Saigon in the late 1990s. Wu is a photography student who enjoys wandering around with a camera, capturing the images around him. His roommate Tang is a wildly carefree man who often frequents glamorous nightclubs. The charm and mystery that Tang exudes deeply captivates Wu. Under Tang's influence, Wu also finds himself in a nightclub where he meets the dancer Wan. Although Wu has a one-night affair with Wan, he finds himself thinking more about Tang. In an unexpected turn of events, Wu and Tang embark on a journey of escape and arrive at a small village in the Mekong Delta, where Wu's father introduces a simple girl to him as a potential wife, but Wu has no feelings for her. Instead, it is Tang who becomes infatuated with the girl.
