The union chairman of a meat processing factory in Shanghai, Big Li (Liu Xiasheng), is a warm-hearted person but has an unflattering nickname: “Weather Station.” Although he is active at work, his health is poor due to a lack of exercise. On rainy days, he suffers from backache and leg pain, and whenever neighbors see him leaving the house with an umbrella, they are sure to follow his example.
