Living in the Fuk Yau Centre, Bin Bin (played by Little Bin Bin) is small but full of spirit, often causing trouble for the cantankerous Centre Director Yu (played by Eric Tsang) along with a group of children. One day, inspired by a fairy tale, Bin Bin sneaks out of the centre for an adventure and encounters the magician siblings, Fu (played by Sam Chan) and Ka (played by Sylvia Chang). Ka is a compulsive gambler who uses magic tricks to steal but is caught in the act by Bin Bin. Due to her gambling debts, Ka drags Fu into trouble with debt collectors. To help his sister who is in prison repay her debts, Fu gets involved in a robbery and accidentally meets Bin Bin. Fu, a kind-hearted person, takes Bin Bin home to live with him, and Bin Bin falls in love with this curly-haired "magician." Ka eventually regains her freedom, but by then, Bin Bin and Fu have developed a strong bond. As a child of the Fuk Yau Centre, Bin Bin's potential adoption makes both of them feel heartbroken...
