The tough and brave hoodlum Ah Yong (played by Zheng Zhongji) has a penchant for rhythmic things, like fighting. However, his emotions are unstable, and only a mysterious demo he posted online serves as his tranquilizer. His older brother, Xiong, orders Ah Yong to watch over a kidnapped girl, Zi Mu (played by Yan Zhuoling), and confines her in a fish raft floating on the sea. With her clever tricks, Zi Mu attempts to escape multiple times, leading to fierce confrontations between the two, and Ah Yong realizes that she is the composer of the demo! To escape, Zi Mu pretends to provide music therapy for the manic Ah Yong, transforming their originally tense relationship into a most bizarre and absurd situation. While some writers produce masterpieces during imprisonment, Zi Mu finds inspiration while being held captive. The sounds of the wind, waves, and dripping water gradually form a rhythm. In such circumstances, she unexpectedly composes a touching piece of music. Moreover, Zi Mu discovers that Ah Yong has a surprisingly good voice, and with his daily fighting and running, he has developed strong lung capacity and a wide vocal range. It turns out that even the kidnappers have great voices! Music changes a person and brings two individuals together. They use their voices to alter their destinies and score the soundtrack of their lives.
