Kate (Darby Camp) and Teddy (Judah Lewis) are a pair of close siblings. Although their friends tell them that Santa Claus is fake and doesn't exist, they decide to use a camera to capture Santa Claus (Kurt Russell) on Christmas Eve to prove their friends wrong. On Christmas Eve, the siblings are surprised to find not only do they see Santa Claus with their own eyes, but they also get the chance to ride on his sleigh. However, an accident occurs due to their poor driving skills, causing the sleigh to crash, which means the Christmas that children around the world dream of might be ruined. To save this year's Christmas, Kate and Teddy decide to team up with Santa Claus.
