Orphan Talo lives as a shepherd; he is the king of the world of memories, remembering everything, yet he is an outcast in real life, forgotten by everyone, even his name lost, only called "Little Braid." Until he meets the girl from the barbershop, the first person to remember him, the first love, that is the beginning of existence. Talo begins a love story, filled with many surprises and mostly disappointments, seeing the world and all beings, then returning to himself. Braids may be lost but can grow back; what about this world? It always requires a departure before one truly knows how to return. Adapted from director Wangmar Caidan's short story, focusing on the living conditions of Tibetans, using a rough texture of black and white imagery to outline the desolation of the Tibetan landscape, while also reflecting the inner confusion of this generation of Tibetan youth. Traveling across the plateau of the soul, thinking they have journeyed so far, yet still hesitating between traditional indigenous culture and modern civilization, wanting to leave but not knowing how, the clouds above may not be empty.
