With the continuous development of technology, the Earth, which humanity relies on for survival, is increasingly threatened and polluted. One day, a massive spaceship appears in the sky, causing panic among people in various countries, and no one knows what impact this unexpected visitor will have on their fate. The spaceship eventually lands in the center of Washington Park, America, prompting local police and military to mobilize. The spaceship is surrounded by fully armed soldiers and curious onlookers, and after two hours of standoff, a ramp slowly extends from the ship. As the door opens, an alien named Klaatu (played by Michael Rennie) who looks just like a human, and a fully metallic robot appear before the crowd. These two aliens seem to have come for the fate of Earth; they express friendliness but do not receive the expected response...
