Avid (Dejan Cukic), a bank clerk, is having a terrible life; his relationship with his cohabiting girlfriend Hannah (Trine Dyrholm) is a mess, and at the bank, he's being yelled at by clients for denying loans. One day, he uses a tennis racket to take down the bank robber Franz (Peter Gantzler), but this heroic act doesn't benefit him at all. He returns home to find that Hannah has left with all the furniture, and then he is hit by Astrid (Line Kruse), who claims to be Franz's wife. From Astrid, he learns that Franz desperately needs money for an in vitro fertilization procedure for his wife.
