This is the comedic version of "Rififi." Two thieves lead a group of small-time crooks in a grand theft plan. They intend to dig a tunnel from an apartment into a nearby shop, but the tunnel ends up in another room of the apartment – just a minor mistake. Anyway, this gang of bumbling thieves makes every mistake possible, and the safe they want to steal seems within reach, yet they can't manage to get away with it.
