The story begins many years ago when the pirate leader Flint (Tim Curry) and his crew transported the treasure they had seized to a mysterious island. However, in order to claim the riches for himself, the cunning Flint killed all of his men, and the location of the treasure became a secret. In fact, the only other person who knew about the treasure was Burns (Billy Connolly), who mapped it out years ago. One day, Burns received the "Black Spot," and he realized that despite hiding for so many years, he could not escape Flint's grasp.
