"The Animatrix" consists of 9 short films based on the worldview of "The Matrix" series. Each segment varies in perspective and style, created by a team of animation elites from Japan, the United States, and South Korea. "The Second Renaissance" tells the history of the MATRIX. Robots, unable to endure human mistreatment, finally rebel and turn humans into energy. "A Detective Story" follows a detective who is led step by step in an attempt to break free from the system's constraints. "Kid's Story" narrates a boy who suddenly receives a call from the network while being pursued by a group of agents. "Program" showcases snippets of a man and woman in a virtual training program.
