In 1942, 11-year-old Joseph (played by Joseph Weismann) is at the innocent age of childhood. On a summer morning in June, young Joseph, wearing a shirt adorned with a small yellow star on the chest, is excitedly on his way to school. The thrift store neighbor encourages him to do well in class, while the baker jokes with him. His Jewish friends and their families live and study in Montmartre. Even though this is an occupied area of France, they have found temporary refuge. However, this brief happiness and tranquility soon collapses. On the morning of July 16, 1942, in the winter cycling track near the Eiffel Tower, 13,000 victims are brutally captured together, prepared to be sent to the Drancy concentration camp. The film is based on true events.
