Duncan (voiced by Jesse Head) has a father who is a 127-foot-tall monster named Belok. He hopes Duncan will become the next "Monster King," but Duncan's mother wants her son to live a normal life and finish high school. Duncan's father constantly sends minions to test his son's strength, while Duncan must use his special abilities—fire breathing and super strength—to protect his friends and family. Thus begins a war between humans and monsters.
