Suzu Hirose has confirmed that she will star in the movie "Cheer☆Dance: The True Story of High School Girls Conquering America with Cheerleading Dance," adapted from the real story of the cheerleading team from Fukui Prefectural Commercial High School, which won champions at the national competition. To successfully portray a cheerleader in the film, Suzu Hirose has undergone nearly six months of intensive training. The new film is based on a real story that occurred in 2009 at Fukui Commercial High School, depicting a group of high school girls starting from scratch and ultimately winning the overall championship in the high school performance category at the national cheerleading dance competition. The plot follows the trajectory of this true story, with Suzu Hirose playing the naive protagonist who joins the cheerleading club to support the boy she secretly has a crush on in the football team. She unexpectedly undergoes rigorous training under a female advisor and eventually becomes the center of the cheerleading team, winning the championship alongside her teammates. To successfully portray a cheerleader, Suzu Hirose began cheerleading training last December, spending up to six hours in one day practicing. Although she had no prior dance experience, her athletic ability shone through, and with the help of Fukui Commercial High School's cheerleading coach, Chiyo Maeda, she quickly grasped the essentials. A member of the 2009 winning team, who has been invited as a director, praised Suzu Hirose's performance. For the final shoot, the crew is set to travel to the United States for location filming to compete against the actual strongest teams in America. Suzu Hirose expressed her desire to look like a real cheerleader who has undergone training, while also enjoying the cheerleading dance itself during the competition. "Cheer☆Dance" is confirmed to be officially released to audiences in 2017, directed by Yuto Kawai. Producer Takashi Hirano stated that Suzu Hirose's smile and energetic presence are most suitable for the role, hoping audiences will be inspired by her performance in the film.
