Chiharu (played by Ryoko Hirosue) and her boyfriend, Anbu Shingo (played by Kenichi Takito), have been in a relationship for many years. Just as they are preparing to step into the marriage hall together, Chiharu is diagnosed with breast cancer. Nevertheless, Shingo chooses to propose to Chiharu. After marriage, Chiharu begins to actively accept treatment. Despite the torment of chemotherapy side effects, the couple maintains a positive and optimistic attitude towards life, and at one point, Chiharu's condition is under control. However, what Chiharu and Shingo did not expect was that a tiny life was growing inside Chiharu. In order to protect this child, Chiharu would need to stop taking medication, which meant there was a high possibility of her cancer recurring. The strong Chiharu decides to give birth to the child, and ten months later, Little Flower is born. As expected, Chiharu's cancer recurs, and facing the gradual approach of death, Chiharu decides to leave the most precious inheritance for her husband and child.
