This is a light comedy set in a military camp. Chen Dahu (Zhang Liang) and his twin brother Chen Erhu (Zhang Liang) enlist in the army simultaneously, causing the team leaders a lot of headaches. The brothers have completely different personalities; Dahu is honest and steady, while Erhu is lively and carefree, yet their similarities in appearance make them hard to distinguish. When Dahu does a good deed, it gets attributed to Erhu, and when Erhu misbehaves, it falls on Dahu. Erhu not only switches weapons with Dahu but also mistakes the commander (Xing Jitian) for a common soldier and tries to trade badges with him. Mischievous Erhu puts Dahu, who is quite ambitious, in a difficult position, often taking responsibilities for him. The second squad leader (Zhang Yongshou) has a straightforward and harsh approach, feeling frustrated with Erhu. After the instructor (Wang Xinguang) discovers the issues, he patiently tries to guide Erhu, who begins to realize his shortcomings...
