It tells the story of the Taishan Guanyin Temple, where a media report unveiled a legendary purple jade gilded bowl, said to be a relic from ancient times left by a primordial Buddha, possessing miraculous powers. A thief disguised as a monk, a “heroine” desperate to save her mother, and the “handsomest monk” in the temple each have their own agendas in the battle for the bowl.
