After serving time for a friend, Maiki (Liu Qingyun) is released from prison but finds no one to pick him up. In contrast, his fellow inmate, the young Ah Fei (Huang Bin), is greeted by friends Xiang Ji (Ma Sicheng), Xiao Long (Fan Shaohuang), Chang Jing, and Fei Gui. This group forms a small team of deaf-mute thieves led by Xiang Ji, who often uses sympathy-inducing tactics to steal wallets and avoid calamities, while another youth criminal gang is their arch-enemy. Maiki meets Xiang Ji after saving her life, and through her, he meets Yalian (Su Zuer), who supports her husband by selling her body. On this day, accompanied by Xiang Ji, Maiki seeks out friends who have prospered but have forgotten that he took the blame for them and treats him like a pariah, hastily giving him a few bills to send him away, even calling the police to ensure he is not disturbed again. This deeply pains Maiki, and Xiang Ji, who has already developed feelings for him, cannot stand it and steals Maiki's friend's wallet containing multiple credit cards. This act brings trouble, placing Xiang Ji and Ah Fei in a situation where they are hunted by both the police and their enemies, and when Xiang Ji inadvertently glimpses the loving scene between Maiki and Yalian, she is instantly heartbroken.
