This film is a remake of Hitchcock's classic "Rear Window." Kale (Shia LaBeouf) originally had a happy family, but his life began to change a year ago after his father died in a car accident. Kale has always believed that his father's death was related to him, feeling very guilty. One day, when a teacher criticized Kale and inadvertently mentioned his father, he exploded and threw the teacher out, resulting in a court-ordered house arrest for three months. Kale's mother tries to wash away her sorrow with work, leaving Kale alone at home all day. Bored, Kale begins to spy on his neighbors' lives with his binoculars: the flirtatious maid seduces the master; three kids stay home all day watching adult films; a nervous man mowing grass accidentally kills rabbits digging in his garden; a beautiful woman with a straight nose practices yoga by the pool every day, etc. Kale gradually discovers that among these neighbors there might be a hidden serial killer, bringing danger along with it.
