In the summer frost, grievances are hard to dispel. Every place has its unforgettable bloody anniversary. For Zhang Jiaan, it is May 13, 1969, when Malays and Chinese engaged in full-scale armed conflict in Malaysia after the elections, resulting in many casualties.
