Undercover cop Ah Hao (played by Qian Jiale) is unfortunately exposed during a counterfeit money deal and is shot multiple times, facing the risk of lifelong paralysis unless he can raise a large sum of money for surgery in a short period. The police force suspects Ah Hao is colluding with criminals, expelling him and refusing to support his operation. Ah Hao's friends in the police force, including Ah Dong (played by Du Dewei), feel deeply unfair about his situation and, in desperation, rob an underground money exchange. However, the amount they steal is far from enough to cover the surgical costs, leading them to decide to continue their robbery spree.
