Lin Yufeng (played by Yuan Biao) is a security manager at a multinational company. One day, he accidentally witnesses a murder. Ms. Li, who was sent to the company for an audit, is seriously injured, and in the process of trying to save her, Lin Yufeng gets scratched by her. Because of this wound, Lin Yufeng becomes the prime suspect in the case and is ultimately sentenced to death. Lin Yufeng, innocent and unwilling to die unjustly, escapes back to his home country. The Chinese police dispatch Officer Luo Bin, who collaborates with Inspector Rosario from the Philippines to investigate the case. During his escape, Lin Yufeng secretly reaches out to his ex-wife A Shan (played by Xuan Xuan), begging her to help him uncover the truth.
