After a brilliant summer at 16, these magical jeans have been passed around among four close friends: Carmen, Tibby, Lena, and Bridget. They each embroidered their experiences on the jeans, sharing and passing on their emotional journeys. Three years have passed, and the four girls have entered different universities, made new friends, and are about to embark on a new adventure this summer. This summer, Bridget (played by Blake Lively) joins an archaeology team in Turkey while exploring ancient sites and continuously questioning her past, grappling with the pain of losing her mother.
