Ray (played by Sylvester Stallone), a bomb expert and former CIA special forces operative, resigns from his job due to a mistake. After resigning, he makes a living as a professional killer. One day, he receives an offer from a mysterious woman named May (played by Sharon Stone) who wants him to kill the local mafia boss. In fact, May is the mistress of this mafia boss, and she seeks revenge for the death of her parents at his hands.
