Morgan Freeman and Frank Grillo will star in the new action film [Panama] (temporary title). The film is based on true events, set against the backdrop of Panama in 1989. A strong, medal-decorated former Marine, James Becker (played by Grillo), is sent by his former commander Stark (played by Freeman) to conduct a high-stakes transaction. Due to the chaos of the local civil war, Becker must negotiate with assassins and beautiful women to complete his mission. Accompanied by Stark, Becker perseveres against all odds, hoping to survive and return home. Directed by Daniel Adams, who co-wrote the script with William R. Barber, filming is set to begin in November.
