Retired Chinese citizens Gao Da, Wu Liwei, and Jin Shi, all in their sixties, travel together in a Southeast Asian country. They unexpectedly learn that the daughter of their close friend, Hua Rong, named Hua Chuchun, has been illegally detained by local gangsters and is being extorted for a hefty ransom.
