A severe car accident causes the girl Aki Sakurane (played by Mari Sakurai) to lose her parents forever, and she seems to gain the ability to see another world, which troubles her greatly. After a year of treatment, Aki is discharged from the hospital and coincidentally meets the young man Shinji (played by Ryo Ishii), who intends to commit suicide.
