Adapted from the novel of the same name by Erin Doom, directed by Alessandro Genovesi, known for "The Wedding Planner," and co-written with Eleonora Fiorini. The story follows Nica, who grew up within the walls of a graveyard orphanage, where she has heard a legend many times: it is said that there is a mysterious tear craftsman who creates all the fears and anxieties of the human heart. By the age of 17, Nica has long forgotten the stories meant for children, as her biggest dream is about to come true: Mr. and Mrs. Milligan are in the process of adopting her, ready to give her the long-awaited home. However, she is not the only child in the new home; a restless and mysterious orphan named Rigel from the graveyard orphanage is the last person Nica wants as a foster brother, yet he comes to this home with her. Rigel is intelligent and charming, producing enchanting melodies on the piano with his fingertips, and his appearance is angelically captivating, yet he hides a dark nature within. Nica and Rigel share painful and difficult pasts, but it is hard for them to coexist under one roof. In fact, kindness and anger are just different means, with the same goal of overcoming pain, striving to survive, and concealing the negative emotions that torment them like the legendary tear craftsman. Faced with the tear craftsman, lies are useless; they must muster the courage to accept "love," a powerful force that draws them to each other irresistibly.
