An 18-year-old girl, Yuko, is alone in the world. One day, her uncle, Gorou, suddenly appears and arranges part-time work and free accommodation for her. What she doesn't know is that the places she will be staying in are houses where unnatural deaths of tenants have occurred. Her task is to stay in these houses long enough until the real estate agent can legally conceal the past deaths from future tenants. As Yuko moves from one place to another, she discovers that she is starting to see ghosts.
