The story takes place in a women's prison. Shi Fei Fei (Li Cui Yun), Qiu Zi (Ma Ling Yan), A Si (Zhao Na Na), and Tao Hua (Liao Dong Yan) are all inmates held there. One day, they welcome a new cellmate, Ding Jing Er (Zhao Wei). Except for Shi Fei Fei, everyone else is hostile towards the newcomer. One day, Shi Fei Fei's boyfriend, Zheng Ying Er (Guo Yu Ming), leaves an infant at the prison gates, abandoning the poor child to go abroad. Reluctantly, the team leader takes in the baby. When Shi Fei Fei learns that Zheng Ying Er has married someone else abroad, she despondently swallows pesticide in an attempt to commit suicide.
