Salesman Wu Fei is kind-hearted. He saves rural girl Lin Xiaomei, who has fainted by the roadside, and takes her home. It turns out that Xiaomei is in love with Yongsheng, but her parents force her to marry a rich old man. She and Yongsheng escaped but got separated at the train station.
