The 26-year-old protagonist, Naoko Tanaka (played by Mei Nagano), originally lived an ordinary office worker life. However, the company hires a charm-laden delinquent female worker, Ran (played by Alice Hirose). She joins midway and develops a friendship with Naoko; they often go to coffee shops together.
